Sales & Give Aways!

It's been a while since I've posted anything on Etsy. I know I've been getting asked about the earrings I would make. Since making earrings I've designed cases & I'm selling other things.

If you haven't noticed there is a "Mizi's Findings" link on the left hand side. This is a link of items in the apartment that we are selling, call it a mini-thrift store. A lot of the shoes and clothes are BRAND NEW! Only two items have been sold so far, so hopefully things will run smoothly with that side of things.

Same goes for the cases. Cases have been sold, but still would love to sell more. Etsy has been a way to share my creative side, as well as have an affordable price for others. That's one thing I refuse to do is steal people's money with selling items. My goal with anything that I do is to help others.

MAY, YOU ARE HERE!

My lack of posts over the past month (or two lol) is absolutely ridiculous. This month though I am trying to guarantee as many posts as possible on the days that I initially assigned. I hate being excited for things, but I can't help myself. This month is & always has been one of my favorite - it's my birthday month!

Last year I went away to Jamaica & I still have yet to post the beauty that I've seen there. This time around I want to be able to post the photos I lacked from last year up until the trip I am taking this year. It's crazy that Milly & I have really followed through with our tradition for our birthdays. We are making sure we visit a new place each year for our birthday trip. I have to get a world map (like my Mom had gotten me when I was younger), & mark down where I've been. It's been harder choosing where I am going to go.

Another little tid bit I want to include in my blogging are my photos from Instagram. I want to include just the random photos & the little outfits I put together as posts. I need to have ideas come my way about what I will & can post to keep my readers, friends & followers interested. Aside from little goodies I keep finding to give away, I want make more videos. Steff had a great idea that we might put into affect.

*Earrings will be coming back soon. iPhone cases are in process to be sold.

Goodness! It's feels strange just being able to type whatever comes to mind, but I really do miss it. Let's hope that I can bring my blog back to life & give you all something to like again. I don't want to grow cobwebs on my keyboards & on my .com. It's going to be the 3 year anniversary coming up in June, I need to make it a big deal thing & make sure it's worth it!

I've had this ring sitting around & not being used at all. The size is about a 6-7 and it's so different than what I've seen. But if you noticed how I am you'll notice some things I just don't wear...I'm simple (sometimes)! Anyways....I'm going to give this ring away to someone. Want to know how easy it is to win this?! Halloween + Winners!

Chola to the fullest.

Make-up only for Halloween.

Celebrated Halloween this year & it was pretty cool. The outfit wasn't even as much as I expected it to be. Everything could be found in the house, except the lip liner & the make-up. LOL If you've been following my Twitter you would have seen the other pictures. :)

Not only that I was having a give away to random tweeters. People who began to follow from 1-50 then those from 51-100. I used a website instead of writing all 100 names because my hand began to cramp. The website I used was 'Random Student Selector', but it works out just the same. I had to Google and look up ones that other bloggers have used. I stayed true to it & the first ones it chose I cropped & as you see are the winners of a pair of earrings that I made.

These two lovely ladies on Twitter are my give away winners. Ladies, all I need for you to do is e-mail me your address so I can send you a pair of customized earrings. :] I will also throw in some little goodies that I hope you will like. :)

NEW RULES!

I know the other day I posted up about a give away to the 100th follower. Well people are playing around a bit so they could be the 100th follower, so I decided to change it up a bit! ;)

As you can see I did a 1-50 follower give away. I literally am putting names in a hat from the 1st-50th follower & going to give them a pair of earrings that I made. I decided this would be great to do with follower 51-100. I know who is the 50th follower, I've kept track. So this should be interesting on how it works out. I figured a random pick will give more people a chance & also my Twitter would gain more followers.

GIVEAWAY!

Good morning everyone! I'm trying to keep up with updating & my normal day to day. I hope things have been going well for everyone. My outfit for today is throw together: I'm wearing a navy H&M dress with a brown belt across the waist & a grey woven cut-off top. I have my brown boots on incase it rains because I decided not to get my feet wet lol.

So the reason for this blog is about the giveaway that Liz is having. I'm very excited because she's not just giving any random thing away, she's giving the earrings that I made away! :) Last weekend I sent her two earrings that she had asked for, one was to giveaway & an extra. I also threw in some little goodies that I hope she would be able to use. For her to even think of this idea & have my customized item to be apart of her giveaway is absolutely AMAZING!

If you check her blog out you will see all the information on how you can enter. The more points that you get the better it is for you! Please note that these items are handmade, so they are fragile, especially the crosses. It's a nice chance at winning an item instead of paying for it, but do know I'm trying to be absolutely reasonable with pricing all the earrings I've been making.

I am currently taking orders upon request. Soon enough I will have my Etsy account set up where you can just purchase what is already made. For now I feel a request of an earring that you like does help. It takes a week to send out: this includes me the item & shipping it to you. For shipping & handling rates please speak to me. Right now I'm only asking half of the shipping cost, which in reality is nothing but $1-2.
